I’m Joe Bennett.

I’m a writer a lot of the time, script editor most of the time, and people pay me for it some of the time.

I’m originally from Coventry in the West Midlands, but unfortunately don’t have that Peaky Blinders twang. I tried very hard (maybe too hard) to copy Stephen Fry's voice as a child and I need help because I think it might have stuck.

I'm a writer who loves to delve into the more twisted side of the human condition, focusing on themes of identity and self-discovery through the prism of genre. I specialise in Comedy, Comedy/Drama, Sci-Fi, Horror, and LGBTQIA+ storytelling because I am a (mildly) funny, (overly) dramatic, and (very) queer (not so) young adult.
